The Premier Development League (Third Division of the United Soccer Leagues) is considered as the fourth division in the Country. The San Francisco Seals and the San Jose Frogs both represent the Bay Area in the PDL's Southwest Division.

The End!

Sunday August, 24th

The San Jose Frogs (Premier Develoment League) announced today they are closing down the franchise. The main reason is the lack of support they have received from the fans last season. The club had hoped they could have a minimum of 100 fans at each home game but, after a succesful season opener against the San Francisco Seals in May, they barely reached 20 tickets sold in most of following games.
